AmPm Media Solutions, the four Roman letters are an abbreviation of its business scope. With A for artist, M for management, P for production and M for musical, we provide a one-stop event planning service for you to meet the needs of customers in any media.
Founded on 2007 in Singapore, AmPm Media Solutions have expanded their business on Malaysia at 2014 to build a more robust platform as professional event planner. This also marked the beginning of AmPm studio to step into the international market.
In Latin Language, AM represents ante meridiem (before noon) and PM represents post meridiem (after noon). The combination of both AMPM formed the 24 hours, the time convention as we knew today. Used by the most analog clock today, the minute hand rotates 12 circles each period and the hour hand rotates a full circle for every 12 hours. The overlapping minute and clock hand as they rotated towards one common direction represents our visions and relationships of AmPm Media Solutions with their customers and partners, when we work toward a common goal and providing comprehensive and consummate services to our client. Our Founder
Colin Qi ZheQuan (Singapore)
Colin Qi ZheQuan, a lyricist from Singapore has founded AmPm Media Solutions, he has extensive experience in music production and artist management. A talent supplier and trendsetter for music industry, he has always been invited to be one of the panel judges in music competitions. Colin Qi began songs writing in 1978, and since then he has already published more than 500 songs and met with more than 40 singers. Colin Qi was one of the pioneers in Singapore folk songs movement (Xinyao), he started his career in the music record industry after he hosted a Xinyao performance in 1983 and 1984. In 1985, Colin Qi collaborated for the first time with the Singapore’s famous music composer brothers Lee Wei Shiong and Lee Shih Shiong to compose several theme songs for the Chinese TV drama “Family Harmony” of Singapore Board Cast Co-operation. He was then invited by the major records companies such as EMI, Form Record, Ocean Butterfly and etc since 1987 to write Mandarin and Cantonese songs for the professional singer.
Besides the great performance on musical creation, Colin Qi also employed by the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) to work as assistant director of Chinese drama from 1988 to 1993. He has assisted in the production of 17 dramas, and thus accumulated a lot of experience while working behind the TV and film scene. He also served in PolyGram Records from 1989 to 1990 as the assistant manager of Chinese Department in Singapore. He has organized a few campaigns for famous stars such as Angus Tung and Su Rui, thus he also have experiences related to album publicity.
In 1993, Colin Qi left Television Corporation of Singapore (TCS) and founded his own company – Stars’ Search Enterprise, which mainly working on TV advertising and record label branding. In 1994-1995 he worked as movie production planner in Singapore for the Hong Kong TVB drama “Files of Justice IV”, in which he is tasked for data collection and coordinate planning for the Hong Kong ATV infotainment show “Hong Kong today” in Singapore and Malaysia. Those joint cooperation efforts with other countries had undoubtedly expanded his horizon on the entertainment industry in the international level.
In 1995, he published the first song in Hong Kong “Qing Xi Ban Sheng”, which eventually get showcased by famous HK star Jacky Cheung, along with other song such as “Ai He Cheng Nuo” and “Wu Suo Wei”. His involvement in the entertainment industry diversified from 1996 to 1997, when he also started to compose TV theme song and episode song for TCS famous talented actors. In the same year, he also helped Lee Shih Shiong to complete Gigi Leung’s album production (“Duan Fa”) in Singapore.
In 1996, he produced the famous iconic song “Guan Huai Fang Shi” for the Singapore TV movie “Cupid Love” and this song has the most cover versions in the history of “Xinyao”. The song has been covered by ah-Niu, Vincy Chan, JJ Lin and others, thus it has becoming one of those “must-know” folk songs at Singapore and Malaysia.
From 2000 to 2003, Colin Qi left Singapore to venture in the finance & aerospace industry in Taiwan. During this period he met several Asian country leaders such as Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan and China. Those encounters broaden his knowledge & foresight about political and business culture as well as customs of different countries.
2004, Colin Qi began his study on Esoteric Buddhism and during those period of study, written a few lyrics for Buddhist-themed songs. In 2010, he joined the music industry of Kuala Lumpur and formed a team (“Sui An Qi Xiang”) with another Singaporean musician. Since then they had started to composed TV drama theme songs for companies such as MediaCorp, NTV7, RTM’s TV2 and etc.
From from 2012 to 2015, their TV drama theme song has been nominated as the top five pieces by “Star Awards” in Singapore:
- Kampong Ties (2012): “Gan Bang Qing Yuan” sung by Chriz Tong
- Don’t Stop Believin’ (2013): “Zhen Shan Mei” sung by Chriz Tong and Tay KeWei
- 96 °C Café (2014): “Ka Fei Qing Ge” sung by Chriz Tong
- Blessings (2015): “Zu Xian Bao You” sung by Chriz Tong, Jaspers Lai and Ehom
Music works in recent years includes:
- “Singapore cha cha” the song for Singapore People’s Association Community Club (2014)
- Ending theme song “Ma Jiang Shen Gong” for the movie “Mahjong King” (2015)
- Theme song “Chun Feng Hua Yu” for 4U Institute of Interpersonal Relationship (2015)
- Sound works for Nirvana Singapore (2015)
From 2013 to 2015, Colin Qi has also arranged foreign artists such as Sun Nan, Shila to perform in Singapore Resorts World Sentosa, and those performances are critically acclaimed.
He started planning for the AmPm Media Solutions in Kuala Lumpur on year 2014.

WeiLun Teo (Malaysia)
WeiLun Teo is the partner of Colin Qi in Malaysia who founded AmPm studio together. Colin and WeiLun Teo worked together hand in hand after noticing the different qualities and skill set within one another.
WeiLun Teo is in love with photography. As a freelance photographer, he has keen sense in the photography scene. From 2012 to 2015, his portrait works of dancing and Wushu have been published by the major electronic media/newspaper.
WeiLun Teo has a profound foundation in Wushu, which sparked his involvement as acrobatic maneuvers action actor. From 2008 to 2013, he participated in several movie, TV shows and advertisement, which including “The Viral Factor” starring by Nicholas Tse and Jay Chou, “Kepong Gangster”, the first gang theme Chinese movie that hit millions in Malaysia box office, “Once Upon A Time”, “Balistik” , “Tangkal Besi” and other movies.
In addition, WeiLun Teo also had experiences in talent management. He has supplied talents to major companies such as Astro, MediaCorp, Asia Tropica Film and others production house.
Besides talent management, WeiLun Teo also worked as a producer. His works includes The 12th World Wushu Championships promo video (2013) broadcasted by the major TV channels, the Lion Parkson Run promo video starring Lee Chong Wei (2014) and the Young Buddhist Association Malaysia (YBAM) Pu Zhao Si Opening Video (2015) and other commercial viral video. To ensure high qualities in every aspect of the production, he has collaborated with Beijing WAV Music, a very well-known professional film / TV soundtrack production firm for several times.

- He organized industrial machinery exhibition/specialty goods trade show from 2009 to 2012, mainly responsible in recruiting worldwide exhibitors to participate in the event. The exhibition held in different countries such as Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Vietnam.
- He is Chief Planner for “Wu Zi-Tai” Wushu KL Fundraising Campaign 2012, the 1st large scale show & campaign after years of inactivity of Malaysia Wushu. The event is highly innovative and garnered many supports from founding members of Wushu and inspired the younger generation rallied towards creative Wushu events/performances. “Wu Zi-Tai” uphold the spirit of popularize the Wushu culture and the concept of rebranding Malaysia Wushu. It has been implemented for several years and achieved good results.
- He is the Assistant Chief Planner (Planning committee) and Chief coordinator for 12th World Wushu Championships 2013 which is the world’s highest standard Wushu tournament. Despite the initial skepticism of international sports community on Malaysia’s capability to host the event, it has achieved a roaring success. The event boasted participation from around 80 countries with over 2000 participants such as members of the International Wushu Federation and also the National Sports Council of Malaysia, etc. The success of the event capacity of Malaysia Wushu was greatly appreciated by the international Wushu/sports community. The tournament was supported by the national TV station through online live broadcast afterwards.
- In 2013, he was the Event Director of Welcoming Dinner of 12th World Wushu Championships. The event was highly praised as the best welcome banquet over the years by the International Wushu Federation(IWUF) executives.
- Associate Producer for Buddhist Musical <Doing> 2014 at the invitation of the Buddha Bodhi Buddhist Association of Kuala Lumpur.
- Planning committee & Coordinator for 1stLion Parkson Run 2014. This event is organized by Parkson Group and co-organized by Lee Chong Wei Foundation. It attracted over 4,000 participants and successfully raised over one million ringgit for Handicapped & Mentally Disabled Children Association. The success of the event has sparked the proposal from chairman of Lion-Parkson Foundation, Puan Sri Chelsia Chan to make the charity run an annual event.
- Chief of Planning Committee for “Global KungFu Cup” International Competition and The 6th (Singapore) International Martial Arts Tournament 2015.
